This little (9" x 12") oil painting is a bit different for me. But I'm trying to branch out and do some paintings that are not primarily landscape, wildlife or animal. And this little girl, intent on her sand drawing and with the ocean breeze making her wild hair give her a sense of mystery, appealed to me.
