This is an 11" x 14" pastel of an area in the Rawah Wilderness Area, near Preacher's Pass. We sometimes camp near here on horse packing trips, and fish the beautiful lakes. There are permanent glaciers here. The photo reference for this painting was taken in August, and there were still quite a few snowfields left.
