Today I decided to take an older pastel painting out of its frame and rework it. I had always thought the painting had some good things going for it, but I didn't care for the frame. Before reframing it, I decided to make some changes in the painting, also. I punched up some of the color, and took the clouds out of the sky, as felt they were distracting. It looks much better now, and is ready to go back to the gallery in its new, updated frame.
