I took a photo of this old Nebraska barn about 5 years ago, and many times had considered painting it. Somehow I just never got around to it until now. I posted the photo on www.wetcanvas.com as one of the November challenges in the Southwestern/Western art forum, and several other artists painted or drew it this month. Unfortunately, the old barn was torn down shortly after I saw it; I'm so glad I took the picture! What a grand old barn it was in its younger days!
This is oil on canvas, 8" x 10".
