Shadows of the Past

This is a new version of a painting I did years ago with the same title. That first painting is owned by a family member, and I had always wanted to do the scene again, so I finally did. This is part of the old corrals at the Old Historic Moulton Homestead in Grand Teton National Park. The day I took the reference photo was bright and sunny, but it had snowed the night before. By the time I arrived on scene, the snow had melted off the old corral posts and the fence, but still was still fairly deep on the ground. The Tetons are spectacular at any time, but especially in the winter!

Just stopping by to catch up on your latest :) Love this painting of the snow, fence and mountians in the back ground. Always such nice work!
