Look what I found in our pasture this morning!
I was hoping for a bay roan, as the mare (Sioux) is a beautiful red roan, and the sire is a magnificent Peppy San bay stallion, but we got another red horse! Oh well, she's healthy and strong, and mama is fine, so I'm grateful.
Here's a drawing I did of Sioux and her last baby, a beautiful buckskin colt that we named Cash. Cash has just turned two years of age, so I'll be starting him under saddle this summer.
All of our horses are American Quarterhorses.
