Whew! It's been hot here! Hot to us up here in the mountains is the high 80's and low 90's, and the daily temperatures have been hitting those highs every day now for more than a week.
In an attempt to cool off somewhat, I painted this oil of some canoes on Chambers Lake. It's a mountain lake about 20 miles from us, in the Laramie River Valley. Nice and cool down there by the water!
