Here are two of the plein air paintings I did while up in the wilderness area during our pack trip. As you can see, they are pretty impressionistic (my plein air work generally is), and quite unfinished. But my hope is that they, along with the photos I took of each scene, will serve as good references when I work on larger studio paintings later on.
