After another HUGE spring snow storm last weekend that dumped almost 3 feet of the white stuff on us, I was really looking for signs of spring. It's been warm all week long, and the snow scene has turned to a swamp! But this little guy cheered me up when he and his mate arrived two days ago. They are checking out the birdhouse nearest our deck, so I'm sure little ones will be on the way soon! A sure sign that, despite the weather, springtime in the Rockies has arrived.

Mountain Bluebird
After another HUGE spring snow storm last weekend that dumped almost 3 feet of the white stuff on us, I was really looking for signs of spring. It's been warm all week long, and the snow scene has turned to a swamp! But this little guy cheered me up when he and his mate arrived two days ago. They are checking out the birdhouse nearest our deck, so I'm sure little ones will be on the way soon! A sure sign that, despite the weather, springtime in the Rockies has arrived.
