Winter Stubble Field

This little 9" x 12" oil was done mostly from my imagination, from remembering all the corn stubble fields that I saw growing up in Nebraska. They were perfect cover for pheasant and quail. It was fun to see how much I could do just from memory. I'm not sure I always want to paint like that, but it was worth a try this time!
