I think this pastel may need a bit more work; I'm happy with it except for the gray horse. Need to give a bit more attention to his anatomy, I think.
This was inspired by working at the guest ranch, and mostly by Ian Tyson's great song, "Chasing the Moon"......especially the line about "Pincher Creek Wrangler", which he was in reality for several years. Loved those early morning tasks with just you and the horses.
This is done in pastel.
