Raising American Quarter Horses for 25 years, I've often witnessed a moment like this between a mare and her foal. They definitely have special communication skills, and I decided this moment would make a nice painting.
This is 12" x 16", oil on gallery wrapped canvas. I intend to donate this painting to a benefit auction, but prints are available.
