I've been taking some time off this week to watch over the new baby! Born early Monday morning, she is a gorgeous bay roan filly, and so far, is doing great. This baby was "pasture born" instead of in a barn, and there was an anxious moment or two on Tuesday. When I went out to check her, I found that she had somehow gotten on the opposite side of a barbwire fence from her mother. Luckily, both she and her mama have pretty calm dispositions, and I was able to reunite them with nothing but an insignificant scratch on the baby.
I haven't named her yet.....still open for suggestions!

These are some gorgeous pictures! She is adorable! I witnessed the birth of a new filly a few yrs. ago, and she was so loveable. I love them at that age!
